Motel 6, at the intersection of Tropicana and Koval

Despite its proximity to the airport and the fact that it is the largest
motel in the world, it is fairly quiet.
Super 8, a few miles north on Koval Lane
There are several restaurants and other facilities on Maryland Parkway,
which runs north-south parallel to the Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) a few
blocks to the east of it.
On one occasion we flew to Las Vegas since it was significantly cheaper
than San Francisco or Los Angeles, even though the outward trip was via
San Francisco and the return via Los Angeles!
The above are only some ideas - there are of course a vast number
of other possibilities.
